The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’. To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, the school organized a bunch of exhilarating online activities for the students that illuminated everyone’s heart with joy and fervor.

Students of Class II & III participated in Diya and Candle Decoration. Students of Class IV made Rangoli with flowers. Students of Class V & VI participated in Paper Lamp-making, and students of Class VII to XII made Rangoli with dry colors.

Demo classes were also given to students one week before this activity. Teachers explained the importance of Diwali, the festival that spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Children decorated the Diyas and Rangoli with colors and glitter.

Both the students and the teachers participated in it with a lot of excitement and passion and enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.
